More money directed to schools in under-resourced communities.
As educators, every day we see how inequitable access to resources negatively impacts our students. When we talk about resources, funding is foundational, but equally important is access to excellent educators, challenging curriculum, safe and healthy schools, wraparound services, and social and emotional learning supports. Unfettered access to these building blocks of education must be accessible to all students, not subject to partisan politics or deeply influenced by zip code and institutional racism.
