Educators for Excellence signs Coalition for Teaching Quality Letter

As the House recently passed the Build Back Better bill, Educators for Excellence joined our partners at the Coalition for Teaching Quality to share our support for the investments in educators included in the bill. 

The letter, cosigned by over 50 education organizations, highlights several important priorities including: funding for teacher training and support programs serving HBCUs, TCUs, MSIs, special education teachers, grants for training principals and assistant principals in high need schools, and funding for Native American language teachers and educators. 

Education is at an inflection point and students and teachers need this support. That’s why we are urging legislators to include and protect these initiatives in the Build Back Better plan, and to get the plan passed now.
