Courtney joined E4E with deep expertise and demonstrated success in working with teachers across schools, nonprofit, and philanthropy to enact meaningful changes for students.
She most recently served as Federal Project Director and Director of Teacher Leadership Strategy for Chicago Public Schools where she worked hand-in-hand with teacher leaders and principals on the south and west sides to design, implement, and scale a modern career pathway for teachers.
In her role as Executive Director, Courtney will support E4E-Chicago’s more than 7,400 E4E-Chicago members to ensure that Chicago teachers’ voices and student-centered perspectives are not only rebuilding but reimagining the public school system our students deserve.
When she’s not geeking out about social justice and systems change policy and research, you can find her attempting DIY projects around the house, tending to the backyard chickens, and playing Clue with her brilliant and hilarious daughter.
