E4E-CT’s Teacher Leader Retreat 2019

E4E-CT Office
153 East Street 4th floor, New Haven, CT

This retreat is for teachers who want to get amped up about making things happen!
Learn about unions from Doug Gibson, an expert on unions from his days as an officer in the Communication Workers of America and later working as a field representative for the American Federation of Teachers-New Mexico.
Discover ways to be more anti-racist and anti-oppression from Jamal Jimerson, the founder of the Minority Inclusion Project. Jamal created the MIP to close the nonprofit racial leadership gap by developing pathways to leadership for people of color while helping community organizations become structurally and systemically diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
Find out about E4E’s new policy topic for the 2019-2020 school year from Ebony Chisholm, E4E-CT’s Managing Director of External Affairs. You’ll also have the opportunity to begin to gather ideas around the new policy topic and learn more about our process and how you can be a part of it, from that moment to getting legislation passed at the state level.
It’s going to be a great experience! Contact Dusty Rader at [email protected] for more information.
