We have leaders from the MPS School Board, MFT Membership, and State Representatives who will share their leadership experience and help us plan new strategies for collective action. We are supporting educators who want to build power in the spaces and places our members already have power in, but may not know it. We’re inviting educators like you to learn more about building power through “leaderful” groups, organizing, coalition building, and combating discursive racism through collective action. We are working in partnership to identify who MUST listen to YOU and HOW we get them to listen.
This is inspired by the Ella Baker model of group-centered leadership.
