Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Halil migrated to the United States at the age of 18. Halil was accepted into CUNY Baruch College where he obtained a Bachelor’s in Business. Upon graduation, Halil joined a private, not-for-profit K-12 school in Brooklyn, NY as the Business/Financial Analyst. During his experience at the school, Halil realized the lack of teacher voice in schools and educational policies. Halil holds a Masters of Science from Goldey-Beacom College.
As the National Data Manager, Halil works with the Data team to support and create efficiencies for the organization. He joined E4E because he believes E4E’s mission to ensure that teachers have a leading voice in the policies that impact their students and profession is exactly what is needed in our education system.
