What to expect: An agreement on the vision of the committee, our priorities, and the manner in which we will push our work forward together. We hope to leave the meeting with options for a few specific issues we could start planning on organizing around.
This committee was conceived to address the inequities that most heavily fall on teachers and students of color and is based on survey responses from NYC educators. We want to create a safe space to advocate for what we know our profession wants and needs.
