Last month, the Women of Color in Education Committee delivered a 1,600 signature petition to Chancellor Samuels and his team demanding NYCPS to increase accessible pathways to school leadership for educators of color and to strengthen retention of our public school educators of color through holistic, culturally relevant mentoring. So, we decided to pilot the mentorship program we deserve in partnership with Edifying Teachers!

Founded to support and sustain educators of color, together, E4E-NY and Edifying Teachers are building a mentorship experience rooted in cultural affirmation, professional growth, and genuine community.
