Both educators and students of color experience racism daily across the state in our schools. These experiences create hostile work and learning environments that result in a variety of barriers for educators and students alike. However, most racist incidents go unreported for lack of clearly defined standards and victims’ fears that reports will be ineffective – or worse, spark retaliation.
