Statement from E4E-MN Executive Director Paula Cole on Minneapolis School Shooting

“Back-to-School season should be a time of joy, excitement, and hope for our children and families. Instead, today we are confronted with the news of yet another school shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis that has left children dead and injured. Our hearts break for the students, educators, and families whose lives have been shattered by this senseless violence. 

“In moments like this, we are reminded of the power of community. We stand in solidarity with all those grieving, and we remain committed to ensuring our schools are places of safety, belonging, and opportunity. To our E4E-MN community, please know that you are not alone and if you need any support, we are here for you.”
