U.S. Commission on Civil Rights: Beyond Suspensions Report
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the only independent, bipartisan agency charged with advising the President and Congress on civil rights, has released a major report which examines how federal laws and policies are failing to protect students of color and students with disabilities from discrimination in school discipline practices.
The report cites the testimony and work of several E4E members and our ground-breaking national teacher survey, Voices from the Classroom.
