4. Why is it important in 2025 to support Black educators in the classroom? 

It is important to support Black educators in the classroom because not only do studies show students do better with BIPOC educators, but also because fewer and fewer youths are becoming teachers. The “game” is not being played forward and we need to revisit why and give more options for the next generation to be educators.
