What began as a conversation over pizza in New York City has now evolved into a growing movement of more than 38,000 educators across the country, with chapters in Massachusetts, Chicago (IL), Connecticut, California, Minnesota, and New York.

Founded in 2015 by Evan Stone and Sydney Morris, Educators for Excellence (E4E) exists to ensure teachers have a seat at the table when decisions are made about the profession and their classrooms.

Together, we’re delivering BIG policy wins and reimagining public education. 

• Strengthened teacher contracts to better protect high-quality, diverse educators during layoffs
• Secured investments in high-quality, culturally relevant instructional materials and aligned supports for diverse learners
• Helped win more equitable school funding and ensured resources flow to the students who need them most
