At Educators for Excellence (E4E), we strive to recognize and uplift educators all year long, but May is especially exciting for us. Teacher Appreciation Day falls on the first Tuesday of May, but we like to go beyond that with Teacher Appreciation Month!
While we know that teachers deserve so much more (better pay, high-quality instructional materials with aligned professional learning, meaningful career pathways, and social-emotional support, just to name a few), a genuine appreciation for the teaching profession means consistently meeting educators where they are. That’s why we’re committed to uplifting your voices through our local and national campaigns, which we work alongside you to advance throughout the year, especially during Teacher Appreciation Month.
One way we uplift educators in May is by bringing the celebration directly to you and your colleagues. You deserve time to reflect on your accomplishments this school year and be recognized for your commitment to our students.
