Demand New Haven Fully Funds Our Schools

Last year, the state legislature took a significant step toward fully funding education in Connecticut by passing HB 5003 and thus adding $150 million to the annual K-12 education budget. This is significant progress. However, it is disappointing that these dollars have yet to be earmarked for the purposes they were truly intended for.

Join us in asking Dr. Madeline Negrón, Superintendent of Schools, to ensure that our district puts those dollars where they belong into the classroom to solve teacher shortages and prevent learning loss.
