Demand Legislators Keep Education Funding Where It Belongs!

Last year, the state legislature took a significant step toward fully funding education in Connecticut by passing HB 5003 and thus adding $150 million to the annual K-12 education budget.

This money is now up for discussion again. Our districts and boards of education are already creating budgets with the commitment of money, and to say it isn’t going to happen is outrageous. I urge our legislative leaders to pass HB 5212.

We need House and Senate leadership to stay committed to teachers and students and keep the $150 million for its intended purposes!
