Raina Aronowitz Managing Director of Development

Raina has committed her career to social justice and has held various roles in development. She focused on international education with Room to Read; the environmental sector, where she worked on on combating climate change; and, most recently, her fundraising efforts focused on the education opportunity gap in her work with Year Up.

Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Raina attended the University of North Carolina and earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and social and economic justice. She received her master’s in public administration from George Washington University. Throughout her career, Raina consistently returns to education as a root cause for so many injustices and systemic social issues. Raina brings her passion for education as a foundation to help students realize their potential and create systemic change of our education system throughout the country.
