A native of Harlem, New York, and a product of New York City public schools, Monica was inspired to join E4E because of its mission and dedication to ensuring that teachers have a voice in the decisions that shape their classrooms and students.
Monica oversees development operations, primarily focusing on philanthropic investment, for E4E-New York. Prior to joining E4E-New York, she worked for Columbia University and other civic and educational institutions across New York City. Most recently, she served as director of development with the Great Oaks Foundation, where she worked closely with the president and chief operating officer on external affairs initiatives and special projects. She is a graduate of Jonson C. Smith University and Columbia University.
