
Harrison was born and raised in Seattle and was confronted with educational inequities early on in his journey. Fortunately, the educators around Harrison nurtured and guided him to a brighter and more sustainable future. The experience left a lasting impression on Harrison and inspired him to be part of the movement pushing to elevate the teaching profession.
Harrison attended Tufts University in Massachusetts and studied International/Global Studies and Arabic. He was drawn to organizing because of the opportunity to build relationships and connect with people, and he enjoys problem solving as a team.
An avid hockey player growing up, he played competitively up to when he started college and remains a big fan of the sport. He enjoys spending most of his free time writing or listening to music.
