Anthony Morse Policy Associate

Growing up in Central Massachusetts as the son of two public school teachers,  Anthony learned the value and role teachers play in students’ lives. After earning a bachelor’s of arts in political science from Northeastern University, he spent four years on political campaigns along the East Coast before working for a Massachusetts congressperson. After earning his master’s in public administration from the University of Massachusetts - Boston and six years working for Congress, he joined E4E.

Through Anthony’s work and study, Anthony realized how important it is to elevate voices that are unheard in public policy. He feels that far too often policy is dictated without key stakeholder input. Teachers do not have many avenues to influence policy and are often required to adapt to situations they have no control in creating. E4E’s mission to elevate the teacher voice is what drew him to the organization.

"Far too often, policy is created and dictated to teachers without their input. If we can elevate their voice in policy discussion, we can elevate students and their outcomes."
