Angela Santilli Organizer

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Angela has always been very engaged in her community and passionate about education. As a child, her favorite game was to create a classroom for her younger brother and neighborhood kids and to play the role of teacher. Her passion for education continued , as she volunteered at local elementary schools in college and tutored for Sylvan Learning following her graduation.

Angela also brings her teaching experience to E4E , which includes working with 5th and 6th grade students in Lawrence, Massachusetts. As an English Language Arts educator, Angela loved seeing students find their authentic selves and develop confidence and empathy through class discussions and projects. She understands that inclusivity is powerful and vital for educational liberation.

Angela joined E4E because she wants to join the fight to ensure that all students have access to an equitable and excellent education. Teachers are frequently left out of decision making and she believes educators’ voices should lead the way to have the greatest impact in their communities and classrooms.

In order to achieve educational liberation, educators need policies that allow them to bring their best self and provide an equitable and inclusive education to all students.
